The part of Yuzhen Group that works with foreign teachers is called Tonghu Consulting. We are a medium sized human resources consulting agency working with many of the public and private schools in Shanghai and its surrounding areas to provide them with qualified foreign teachers. Our schools include Primary, Middle and High schools and students generally range from 7 years old to 18 years old. We also do a little work with the universities around this area, although generally we focus on the schools. We are usually looking for teachers to start at the beginning of the school terms, September 1st and mid February.

Our main office is located in Shanghai where we place most of our teachers. All the work that we offer at the moment is focused on Shanghai and its immediate surroundings. A majority of our schools are in Shanghai, but there are also a few closely in some of the larger cities in Zhejiang province to the southwest.

Staff

The staff of Tonghu Consulting are almost all English speaking Chinese people. The staff is listed below according to their job within the company.

The most relevant staff members to our teachers are those that handle everyday relations and help in hiring and problem solving are Woody, Randy, Ice, Tracy, Lucy and Jessica. They are the main points of contact for the English teachers and generally each teacher is assigned to one of the six listed above so there is no confusion when something comes up. Other staff members include: Jenny and Ada, who are responsible for relations with the schools around Shanghai; Stephanie, who is involved in a little bit of everything.
